WHAT AREAS DO WE DELIVER TO?

Hands Holding a Map

We aim to deliver quickly within 7 days, to those within a 10 mile radius of Strichen. For those further afield, please call for a quote.

ARE WOOD PELLETS CHEAPER THAN OIL OR GAS?

Olive Grove

While fossil fuels can complete with wood pellets when prices are very low, they cannot compete when it comes to the environment. When the Government RHI support scheme is taken into account, wood pellets can compete financially with most fossil fuels.

CAN YOU STORE BAGGED FUEL OUTDOORS?

Raindrops on Window

It is not recommended, since the bags have small holes to let air out during the bagging process. Moisture in the air will affect the pellets over time. With that being said, our Plenty Pellets will come in a shrink wrapped pallet cover, which will keep any rain off for short term storage outside.

ARE ALL WOOD PELLETS THE SAME?

Fire Wood

No. Wood pellets are suplied to various standards, the best standard being En A1+. While our pellets are not registered as En A1+, we work to the same moisture and density requirments.

WHY SHOULD I USE PELLETS RATHER THAN WOOD CHIP?

Wood pellets are much higher energy density and therefore less storage space required for your fuel. The fuel is also much easier for your boiler to handle because the wood pellets are of uniform size, density and moisture content.

WHY SHOULD I USE PLENTY PELLETS?

Forest Trees

Our very competitive price. The high quality of product and reliable supply. Our use of locally sourced raw material, local distribution and local pellet production. The fact that the majority of our electricity to run our plant and dryer come from our own renewable energy resources, and the heat for drying the sawdust is from our biomass boiler.
